Sheldon Manufacturing Releases Redesigned 2017 BACTRON Anaerobic Chamber

CORNELIUS, OR:  Sheldon Manufacturing Inc. is pleased to announce the release of their 2017 BACTRON anaerobic chamber family. BACTRON chambers are total anaerobic process workstations. Samples can be prepared, cultured, and inspected in the oxygen-free chamber and standard incubator.

BACTRON chambers now include an integrated vacuum pump for quieter operation. The biggest airlock on the market is now the fastest, the new 2017 BACTRON offers a 60% faster airlock cycle which means getting samples into the chamber two times faster than before. No more guesswork or operator variation with an auto-sleeve cycle with an integrated HEPA filter.

Taylor Rassi, lead engineer behind the redesign said: “BACTRON units are getting smarter, with a new inner door lock that prevents the airlock from opening in non-anaerobic conditions while also preventing operator error and introduction of oxygen to critical samples. A single button auto-commissioning cycle automatically creates an anaerobic atmosphere, just press the button and walk away while the chamber becomes anaerobic.”
